Review:
There’s a lot of reasons this book got 5 stars from me, but I think you know a book is that good when you are still thinking about the characters months later. This is for sure a romance novel, but it has so much more to it than just your typical romance plot line. By the end of the book you will be in love with Sam Florek and the author Carley Fortune for writing such a good book. There wasn’t a ton of spice in this book which I appreciated, but when there was spice is was SPICY. This is always a book I recommend over and over to people and never regret it, and will be rereading next summer.
Immediately Every Summer After made me think of the song Back to December by Taylor Swift but after more consideration this book also gives off same vibes as Summer I Turned Pretty. If you disagree with both, then comment and tell me what this book reminds you of! I also wanted to explain my book bite on this one - I drank a nice, crisp, cold glass of white wine will reading this one day outside on my porch so in my head the only thing I could picture pairing this book with was a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. And you guys can fight me for drinking a Costco brand wine, but do not knock until you try.
Book Bite:
I am sorry, I don't make the rules here, but you have to drink white wine out of a glass like this or you're not enjoying it as much.
